Naperville Private Poolscape
Located in Naperville, this new construction home had many design and installation challenges to overcome. A significant grade change from main door to final grade was significant. To avoid several steps wasting usable space and decreasing traffic flow, we felt an elevated pool deck was the best route to go.
With a significant grade change to overcome, our design team planned and executed an expansive elevated pool and entertainment terrace.
Using both natural stone and concrete based building materials, the large terrace was scaled down a bit visually by altering the flooring material with both natural stone and concrete based building materials. A covered grill island and upper seating area was added directly adjacent to the back door for convenience. A custom covered roof structure with privacy wall was added for additional shade near the pool area. A fireplace was constructed near the pool area to extend the patio’s usage after hours and late into the season.
