Hinsdale Formal Landscape
Located in Hinsdale, this new construction home was a blank slate. The clients wanted the front landscape to be inviting and beautiful. For the back, they wanted a lush garden patio with shade, as well as a fireplace.
Blending in and enhancing the beautiful architecture of the home was important in the design process. We used natural stone and clay products to construct hardscape spaces that stood out but didn’t detract from the architectural detail. Matching building materials used on the homes’ exterior tied the entire property together well. A beautiful fireplace sitting area and separate shaded dining space were created in the backyard as extended living space from the interior. Lush planting separating the spaces was incorporated to add depth and interest to the space.
